Your text and files

The cleaning code processes content in your browser. It does not upload file contents, submit pasted text, use analytics or store content in cookies or browser storage. Downloads are created locally. Clear empties the text boxes; reload the page to discard file results.

Page requests

Your browser requests the site from Vercel. The tool page also requests fonts from Google Fonts. These providers receive ordinary connection information, such as an IP address, when serving those requests; the cleaner does not include your pasted text or file contents in them. Browser extensions and your operating system are outside this tool’s control.

Limitations

Results are not proof of human authorship or removal of a statistical AI watermark. Character removal can change language, formatting or meaning. Review the result. Aggressive mode deliberately removes joiners and emoji tags.

Structured text files only lose an initial BOM. Plain .txt files use the selected options. Text files must be UTF-8. PDFs, office documents, SVG and video are unsupported. Files are limited to 20 MB; images to 20 megapixels.

Image exports are newly encoded images. Quality, colour and size can change, and animated inputs become still images. Source metadata is not copied, but the browser may write new technical metadata. We do not claim that an export contains zero metadata or removes pixel-based watermarks.
