Use a text cleaner for unwanted invisible characters. Use a rewriter when you want different wording. Use a metadata tool for file metadata. “AI watermark remover” is an ambiguous label; check the method before trusting the result.

Which tool should I use for Claude text?

Why not just remove every invisible character?
Some characters join emoji or shape language. Our defaults preserve joiners and directional controls. The published regression tests include emoji, Indic and Persian samples. Aggressive cleanup is an explicit option because it can damage those sequences.
When this tool is a good fit
- You want a free zero-width-space remover with a report of changes.
- You want local cleanup without an account or submitting text to a rewriting service.
- You want optional normalization, rather than automatic paraphrasing.
When to choose something else
Use an editor or rewriter to change wording. Use a format-aware tool for PDF or Word documents; those formats are not supported here. For structured text files, this tool only removes an initial byte order mark. It does not rewrite code or normalize Markdown files.
